At Asensi Abogados we have the avant-garde in our DNA. Practically since our foundation in 1998, we were pioneers in advising on Gaming Law in Spain and we now advise the gaming industry and national and international regulators, handling almost 1000 procedural matters per year for our more than 300 clients and having internationalised, thanks to the opening of our office in Bogotá (Colombia).

Over the years, thanks to our extensive experience in highly regulated sectors and driven by the new challenges posed by our clients, we have developed a solid and deep specialisation in Regulatory Law, in cutting-edge sectors such as digital, financial -especially in FinTech- or tourism, which we have complemented with our corporate and litigation services.
In particular, we have incorporated a series of services for our clients operating in the blockchain ecosystem that have already made us a reference in Tech Law, highlighting our specialisation in blockchain and digital assets, which has also allowed us, thanks to our experience in both Latin America and Europe, to accompany our clients in the expansion of their businesses in both regions.

Our innovation
Our innovative, restless and avant-garde spirit is not only evident in our firm and its professionals, but has also been reflected in the creation of an independent firm, specialised in advising start-ups in the gaming sector: Asensi Technologies. This boutique laboratory for certification, accredited by the Directorate General for the Regulation of Gaming (DGOJ), also stands for excellence, which is very clear in one simple fact: since its creation in 2017, it has not received a single request for rectification from the DGOJ.
On the other hand, we are members, at an international level, of the prestigious International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA), the IMGL (International Masters of Gaming Law) and the Blockchain Game Alliance. In Spain, we are part of J Digital (Spanish Association of Digital Gaming) and we were among the first members of Bet On Ceuta, a non-profit association that looks after the online gaming industry in Ceuta, whose tax regime has turned the autonomous city into a key place for the industry and in which we opened an office in 2024.
